SUMMARY

We carried out an R&D project in collaboration with the Department of Energy Systems of the School of Mining on a simulation system of operational procedures in the event of an emergency at nuclear power stations connected with the dynamic simulation. This system will be part of an integrated framework that we are developing to integrate operator actions dynamically in deterministic and probabilistic integrated safety analyses that provide us with the ISA integration methodology. This global system will enable the procedures to be checked and validated semi-automatically, and make it easier for regulators to perform evaluation tasks, thus increasing safety at nuclear power stations.
